Beetl is currently in late stage prototyping. The core functionality of the robot is implemented – it identifies dog waste on a variety of surfaces, can drive itself to the collection site, and most importantly can pick up the poop!
Our team is focused on finalizing the user experience around the product including building a companion app, designing the product aesthetic, and building a dump station for collected waste. After this we’ll begin working on manufacturing technology and cost reduction. Beetl is expected to be available for preorder in August, 2017.
